I am chubby, I am horizontally challenged, I am FAT.

SO?!

While I was blog-hopping the other day, I chance upon Daydreamer's blog with a comment that made me smile.

Why is the world like this? What is wrong with being fat? I do have plans to trim down my extra extra weight since I know it's for the betterment of my self, my health, and all those crap. It's just funny how the world judge us.

Here's what Daydreamer said:

Uhm.... ive heard this statement eversince i was little...
"SAYANG KA HIJA, PAPAYAT KA. ANG GANDA-GANDA MO PA NAMAN!!"

Here's my reaction:

Pag meron pa na nagsabi sa akin ng ganyan, eto sasabihin ko:
"SAYANG KA HIJA, PAGANDA KA NAMAN. ANG SEXY-SEXY MO PA NAMAN!!"

You never hear these lines before, right? The mainstream can be really really cruel.

Anyway, I am just being bitter. I really really have to lose weight. I even found some deregatory line from Cosmo (of all places!), the magazine that should've been celebrating women regardless of looks and figure, about 'how looks can determine how far you will reach in life'. I better look for that article again and post it here. Hmph!
