Instead of having a one-time-big-time honeymoon, Witt \u0026amp; I decided to have small trips and staycations throughout the year. The bathroom is made of glass and is\u0026nbsp;see-through (with curtain provisions), so it might be weird for non-couple stays. The in-room wifi was high-speed and unlimited. They also offered us a mobile phone with unlimited data for our stay which can be brought outside for our data and Internet needs. We rode the Airport Express from the Hong Kong International Airport to the Hong Kong Station ($21.92 for 2) and hailed a cab from the terminus to the hotel ($6.45). The HongKong Tram - those vintage double-decker trains that go around Hong Kong Island - is just a 2-minute walk while the nearest Causeway Bay MRT Exit is just 9 minutes away. We usually enter\/exit through Times Square. The heart and center of Causeway Bay is very the hotel. It's only 9-12 minutes away from favorites like Apple Store Causeway Bay, Times, Square, Sogo, Hyan Place, and Ikea.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nThe area of the hotel is a little bit quiet especially at night compared to the hustle and bustle of Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon. It's not as touristy compared to the other Hong Kong streets, yet it's just a few walks away from where the action is. One of the things I genuinely love about Butterfly on Morrison is its proximity to Dimdim Sum. \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/dimdimsum.hk.english\/\"\u003EDimdim Sum\u003C\/a\u003E is arguably one of the best dim sum places in Hong Kong (or the world!). It's just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, and we got to try it twice in our stay. It's a must-try and must-visit for dim sum foodies!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe spent around Php 4,300\/night ($92) in Butterfly on Morrison. I planned the trip complete with itinerary and the tiniest details BUT it all went down the drain because we spent most of our days shopping. Thus I'll be sharing with you some shopping reports and finds in the \"shopping mecca\" of the world.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nBeing the geek that I am, the most common questions I encountered before I went to Hongkong was: \u003Ci\u003E\"Are you going to buy an iPad? How about an iPhone 4?\"\u003C\/i\u003E Answer: Nope! \u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI actually did not intend to buy any electronics or gadgets on this particular trip. I did not even wander in the \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.fortress.com.hk\/\"\u003EFortress stores\u003C\/a\u003E, HK's popular digital shop, for me not to be tempted. I splurged on shoes, bags, clothes, but not on gadgets. Hongkong shoppers know that HK is no longer the best place where you can buy electronics stuff. It's also risky to buy because of the knock-offs, copies and fakes that surrounds every corner of the fame shopping district.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nBut I kinda broke my promise and did not come home empty-handed (gadget-wise). I was still able to wander and buy three (3) portable external hard disk drive which apparently turned out as my best buys on the trip.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/abbiereal\/5044545178\/\" title=\"Imation iPro Metal Portable Hard Disk Drive by AbbieReal, on Flickr\"\u003E\u003Cimg alt=\"Imation iPro Metal Portable Hard Disk Drive\" height=\"333\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4092\/5044545178_2c640f9397.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cb\u003EImation iPro Metal Portable HDD \u003C\/b\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI was able to get a \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.wdc.com\/\"\u003EWestern Digital Elements\u003C\/a\u003E 500GB external hard drive for only $HKD 460 (Php 2,760) and an \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.imation.com.hk\/\"\u003EImation\u003C\/a\u003E iPro Metal 500GB for $HKD 489 (Php 2,934). The former was for my boss who asked me to buy him two and the latter was for me. I chose aluminum Purple but they don't have it on stock so I chose pink instead. These external HDDs were very inexpensive compared to the 500GB in Manila which sells for Php 3,500 - 4,000 per unit. I was able to get additional discounts and freebies since I got three. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/abbiereal\/5044545182\/\" title=\"WD Elements \u0026amp; Imation Portable Hard Disk Drive by AbbieReal, on Flickr\"\u003E\u003Cimg alt=\"WD Elements \u0026amp; Imation Portable Hard Disk Drive\" height=\"333\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4124\/5044545182_97400d7bf3.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI bought the gadgets at the Basement of \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.goldenarcade.org\/\"\u003EGolden Computer Arcade\u003C\/a\u003E located in the Sham Shui Po district. It is quite far from the usual HK fares and it caters more to locals than to tourists. It's easily accessible via MTR and it's a popular shopping center for computers and peripherals so it's very easy to locate. The shopping center is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. There's a lot of stalls selling impossibly 'marked down prices' for electronics so be very cautious when buying.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cb\u003EDirections:\u003C\/b\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nTake the MTR Tsuen Wan Line and get off at the Sham Shui Po station (7th stop from Central).
