It was one heck of a stressful week last week. There were so many meetings and things to do at work and not to mention the high demand of my "night job". Hehe! Night job sounds sleazy but it is actually quite the opposite of what really it is.
I had problems with my broadband connection the other day so I entertained myself by watching Brothers & Sisters episodes. It was so so nice! I've already seen the first few Season 1 episodes before but I stopped after the 10th episode. I am now watching Season 2 and I must say that I am definitely hooked with the Walker family. Nora Walker truly rocks!!! Sally Field really shines! I hope she will get a nice trophy for it.
I took a needed break last Friday evening and went out with my Assumption friends for dinner. It's been a while since the last time we were all together so we really had a nice time catching up at Bubba Gump's in Greenbelt 3.
There were also a lot of things to celebrate for. Like Kat's new work at Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia and Mayee's recent engagement to Victor!

I am so happy for both Kat and Mayee. I know that Kat's been working so hard for years for this and I am so glad that she finally got what she wanted. I will really miss Kat, my dearest college best friend, but her new assignment will also give me an excuse to travel and visit her in KL. As for Mayee, well, nothing beats being engaged to the one you love. We've met Victor several times and I am sure that he will take good care of my dear friend. :)

It was really a nice get-together. Too bad Tons was not able to join us since she was sick [Get Well, Tonich!]. We also had our annual Christmas gift-giving since we were not able to see each other last December. The Body Shop lady laughed when I asked her if they still have Christmas-themed packages when I bought my loot for the girls.
