The whole nation is mourning for the death of our most beloved Philippine President, Cory Aquino. Tita Cory, as she is fondly called, joined her Creator after battling with Colon Cancer for more than a year at 3:18 am, Saturday, August 1, 2009.
The Philippines was very blessed to be gifted with a very amazing and brave woman. She's always been a symbol of hope, bravery and inspiration to all of us. She showed us how to be vigilant and fight for our liberty no matter what it takes. Her heroic gift of democracy is the reason why we are enjoying our freedom today.
Tie a yellow ribbon for our nation's mother. She will be truly missed.
