:: FATHER'S DAY ::

We celebrated Father's Day a day early by tripping in Tagaytay this afternoon. We first went to Pink Sisters along Aguinaldo Highway to start the day. We make it a point to visit this quaint, little chapel at least once a month to pray for our petitions and thank the Lord for the graces we receive each day. We arrived just in time for the nuns in pink's vespers and oration. Too bad they don't ring Gabbie's favorite bell chimes except on Sundays.

Next stop is dad's favorite - shopping at Santi's Delicatessen. It's a European deli store that sells all kinds of produce, organic veggies, wines, breads and the like. I took some pictures of this nice countryish shop that's very Euro (obviously). They also have a small cafe inside where you can have amazing pasta, sausages and wines. Well, the lowdown...price is also astronomically Euroish.

Coolnes! Whattacellar! Only at Santi's

(2nd Pic) Yummy Sausages and Hotdogs (in every taste imaginable)
(3rd Pic) Now here's THE cheesy with a capital C!

We had dinner at our favorite Chinese resto near the junction and had sundae dessert at McDonald's Bel-Air so Gabbie can have her "Play-Play" at the Playplace. We also went to the fame Ayala Westgrove to check-out St. Scho for Gabbie's future scholastic pursuit. : )

ST. CAJETAN
For all you job seekers out there...do pray novena of intercession to St. Cajetan, the Patron Saint of Job Hunters and the Unemployed. : ) Check out this beautiful prayer that he made:

Look down, O Lord, from Thy sanctuary, from Thy dwelling in heaven on high, and behold this sacred Victim which our great High Priest, Thy holy Son our Lord Jesus Christ, offers up to Thee for the sins of His brethren and be appeased despite the multitude of our transgressions. Behold, the voice of the Blood of Jesus, our Brother, cries to Thee from the cross. Give ear, O Lord. Be appeased, O Lord. Hearken and do not delay for Thine own sake, O my God; for Thy Name is invoked upon this city and upon Thy people and deal with us according to Thy mercy. Amen.

That Thou wouldst defend, pacify, keep, preserve, and bless this city, we beseech Thee, hear us.

BANDAGE BONDAGE FREE!
The finger is doing better. I removed the bandage this morning and went to the hospital to have it dressed this evening. This is the first time I saw my finger post-op and it's actually not really ugly. In fact, it looks quite normal. : ) There, something to be happy about! More reconstructive surgery might be put on-hold since it's turning out beautifully. By the way, my arm still got bruises from those injections last week. Hay!
